The kids stepped up huge tonight. After dropping a two point game at the buzzer down there, this was a good win for us. The kids executed really well at both ends of the floor. Our defense was tough as the kids rotated well and worked together well. Ewald played one of his strongest games
as he has done a better job of looking to get down the lane. Roth, too, did really well get to the rim. Schultz does so many things well; he had a strong game tonight especially defensively. Jamie Sizemore (Sr) had a solid game, scoring 8 points. Nick Peer (Sr) and Reese Austin (Sr) both gave us strong play as well. Both hit key baskets for us. As a team, we shot relatively well. We went 11/25 2FG and 6/13 3FG. What I’m proudest of is how the kids handled the run that Ogemaw made in the second half, cutting our lead to 6. We regained our composure and took better care of the ball to secure the win. Solid team effort.
