Roscommon Boys Basketball scores big

Alcona  11-19-11-11 = 52 (9-10 overall)
Roscommon  20-15-11-14 = 60 (8-11 overall)

Scoring Leaders:
Joel Ewald (So) — 18 pts
Seth Keipert (Sr) — 10 pts
Ethan Flynn (Sr) — 9 pts
Mac Schultz (Jr) — 8 pts

I’m really proud of the kids for digging this one out on Senior Night to get our third win in a row.  We had a strong first quarter, and then saw Alcona eventually tie it in the second half.  Both teams played hard; the game was physical.  Alcona played tough D and forced us into too many turnovers and forced shots.  We got back on track in the fourth quarter.  Each player who stepped on the floor gave us some great minutes tonight.

Ewald has a career-high tonight, hitting 4 3’s in the game and going 4/4 from the FT line in fourth quarter.  Keipert had some great blocks in the paint and did a good job on the boards.  Flynn and Schultz both gave us some solid minutes as did Logan Roth (Jr) who added five pts and Reese Austin (Jr) who netted four.

Next games:
@ Grayling (3/3/20)
vs. Oscoda @ Joburg (3/9/20) — Districts
