ROCOMMON– The 2026 Kirtland’s Warbler Festival will return to Roscommon June 5-6, celebrating the endangered Kirtland’s warbler and its jack pine habitat with guided tours, bird banding, live art, educational presentations and family activities.
Friday’s Home Opener at the Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve will feature bird banding demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, live art auction, keynote speaker Scott Harris of RaptorQuest, and a wine and beer tasting.
Saturday’s Festival Day at the CRAF Center, 606 Lake St., includes morning warbler field trips, educational programs, kids activities, artists and storytellers.
