WEST BRANCH – The Ogemaw Hills Snowmobile Club (OHSC) invites you to celebrate its 57th Anniversary Open House and 14th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show & Ride on Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As Michigan’s oldest snowmobile club, established in 1967, OHSC is proud to host one of the state’s largest vintage snowmobile gatherings, featuring over 300 antique and classic sleds from across Michigan and beyond.
This family-friendly event will be held at the OHSC Clubhouse in Frank Alley Park Trailhead Parking Lot, 2846 N. Fairview Rd, West Branch, MI, located at the corner of Fairview and Rose City Roads, just 10 miles north of West Branch and 8 miles west of Rose City.
This free event offers complimentary vintage snowmobile registration, parking, visitor entry, and refreshments. The heated clubhouse will serve coffee, cocoa, our famous “rake dogs,” and desserts, with donations welcomed. Guests can warm up by the campfire and enjoy fresh kettle corn from Rose City’s “I Want That Kettle Corn” stand.
The event begins at 10 a.m. with a flag-raising ceremony, including a memorial tribute to club members who have passed in the last year. Around noon, attendees can enjoy a crowd-judged Vintage Snowmobile Clothing Fashion Show.
One of the day’s highlights is the annual snowmobile raffle, where the lucky winner can choose between a 2004 Polaris Pro X 120cc youth snowmobile, a 1999 Ski-Doo M 120 Z, or a cash option. Raffle tickets are available online and at the event until the drawing, and winners need not be present to claim their prize.
At 1:30 p.m. vintage sled owners can participate in a guided trail ride, preceded by an old sled parade around the event grounds.
Throughout the day, club merchandise and memberships will be available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting OHSC’s Snowmobile and ORV trail system.
