GRAYLING — North Sky Raptor Sanctuary will visit Devereaux Memorial Library at 1 p.m. June 10 for a special one-hour program on how birds are modern dinosaurs.
The program will give guests a close look at the link between today’s birds and their ancient dinosaur relatives. Staff from North Sky Raptor Sanctuary will talk about how birds evolved, how raptors use their sharp eyesight, strong talons and hooked beaks to survive, and why these birds play an important role in nature.
North Sky Raptor Sanctuary will bring two raptors to the program, giving families and guests a chance to see these birds up close while learning about their habits, adaptations and care.
