Wicked Jeeps holds annual St. Helen Trail cleanup

ROSCOMMON COUNTY- Wicked Jeeps of Southeast Michigan visited St. Helen for their annual cleanup of the off-road trails. Drivers from across the state participated in the event. Dumpsters for trash and tires were set up at the clubhouse of the St. Helen Snowpackers Snowmobile and ORV Club.

The event continues a tradition that began in 2017 when club members encountered multiple illegal dumpsites during an off-road ride and decided to take action to preserve the natural beauty of the area.

Over the years, the event has grown significantly, attracting hundreds of volunteers. Recycled materials, such as scrap steel, have been used to fund trail maintenance equipment, and returnable bottle and can deposits have supported local events like the St. Helen annual fireworks show.
