MECOSTA COUNTY- Sat. May 6, the Haymarsh Hunt Club will be hosting a youth pheasant hunt. This free event, sponsored by Isabella/Clare County Pheasants Forever, is for kids ages 12-18. Participants will learn how to handle and shoot a shotgun, then go on a guided, three-bird hunt and learn how to field-dress pheasants.
This hunt is limited to 24 youth hunters, and all youths must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
