Thomas Michael Bucholtz, age 84 of Roscommon, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at his
home in the presence and comfort of his family.
Thomas was born January 31, 1942, in Smith Creek, Michigan, and was the son of Leo Edward
and Bernice Mary (Bielecki) Bucholtz.
Thomas enjoyed working on cars, collecting antique cars, going to auctions, and helping his family and
friends. He also worked at the Port Huron Times Herald for many years and enjoyed working
with everyone in the press room.
Thomas will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sister,
Dorothy Christensen of West Branch and his brother, John Bucholtz of Port Huron, as well as
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Bernice.
Thomas’ family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
