Peggy “Ma” Ann Parks, 80, passed away on June 15th, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 11, 1945 in Highland Park to Bonnie Mae and Willie Paul Reynolds.
Before moving to Grayling, Peggy grew up in Warren and resided in Arkansas, Waterford and Pontiac.
Peggy graduated from Fitzgerald High School. She worked for 18 years at Pontiac Silverdome. Along with her work at the Silverdome, Peggy found joy in working with the disabled at Buckingham Community Services.
Peggy had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also LOVED her Pepsi and scratch off lottery tickets. Peggy also loved to work on puzzles and enjoyed her rescue dog Lucy and cat Mr. Man.
She is survived by daughter Tabitha (Michael) Hunt, and sons Randy (Carol) Reynolds, Richard (AnnMarie) Thornton, Dean (Lori) Thornton and sister Rose Kellems along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved all her children greatly however it should be known that Randy was her favorite.
She is preceded in her passing by her parents, son Scott Thornton and siblings: Paul Reynolds Jr, Richard Doyle, Robert Vernon, Thelma Louise, Virginia Mae, Marilyn Thea, Shirley Jean, Anges Rae.
With Peggy’s last act of love and generosity, she graciously donated her remains to Wayne State School of Medicine.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
