Randy A. Carr, age 62, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born on January 7, 1963, the son of James and Jean Carr. Randy worked as a carpenter in the Detroit Carpenters Union for over 20 years. After retiring, he continued to serve his community as a corrections officer in Gladwin. He married the love of his life, Brenda, and together they shared 37 wonderful years of love and memories.
Randy was always keeping busy with projects, using his carpentry skills to build and create. He also loved spending time with his dog, Toby, taking him on walks several times a day. Above all, Randy cherished time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda; children: Brittany Carr, Ryan (Adena) Carr, and Lauren (Brian) Grindle; grandsons: Burton and Ashton; siblings: Roger (Kim) Carr and Renee (Brett) Firmingham; and his beloved dog: Toby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Carr.
