James “Jamie” Harold Keene, age 40, of Roscommon, died on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at his home in the presence and comfort of his family.
James was born February 16, 1983, in Grayling, Michigan, the son of Douglas and Dori (Keeler) Keene.
James graduated from Roscommon High School in 2004. Jamie had a passion for cooking, especially steak dinner for the family and his favorite dessert to make was chocolate crinkle cookies. He loved spending time with his family, which included various camping trips.
James will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by father, Douglas; his brothers: Justin and Joshua of Roscommon; his sister: Jennifer (Dwaine) of Prescott; Uncle Lee (Lydia) of Tennessee; nieces, Heather (Jeff) of Tennessee, Kayla (Chris) of Saginaw, and Samantha (Matt) of Alger; great niece, Azly; and great nephew, Leo. as well as many cousins, and friends.
James is preceded in death by his mother, Dori; grandparents, Florence and James Keeler; aunt, Ginger Stever; and great nephew, Zhain.
James’ family has chosen to remember him privately at this time, per James wishes there will be no service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
