Keith Edward Taylor, born October 7, 1951, in McKeesport, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in West Branch, MI, at the age of 74. He lived in West Branch for the past 5 years, formerly of Skidway and North Branch, MI.
Keith graduated from McKeesport High School in Pennsylvania in 1969, setting the foundation for a life marked by purpose and achievement. Shortly after graduation, he proudly answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Navy. He served honorably during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1971, demonstrating courage and commitment in a time of immense challenge.
Following his military service, Keith established himself as a skilled tradesman. He built a respected career as a carpenter with the Local Union #706 in Saginaw, MI.
Keith found great joy in his hobbies, particularly gunsmithing, shooting, marksmanship, and frequenting gun broker. These interests were more than leisure; they reflected his deep appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and tradition.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Cheryl (Lane) Torrey, Charlene Taylor, Amanda Taylor, and Mary Taylor; his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rita (Wizzard) Taylor, and his sisters, Patricia and Pamela.
Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
