Cynthia Poelman, 97, of Beaverton

Cynthia J. Poelman, age 97, of Beaverton, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1927, the daughter of William and Betsy (Lawrence) Dixon. Cynthia was a hard worker and was employed for many years at Ford Motor Company. In her free time, she often enjoyed hunting, fishing, and canning.

She is survived by her daughters: Pam (James) Sczomak and Nancy (Dan) Klaus; grandchildren: Larry Colbert, Cathy Henning, Jerry Rago, Todd Rago, Joe Mason, Jessica Mason, Jennifer Glikerson, and Vanessa Zubor; along with several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Charles, Orv, and Lee; parents: William and Betsy; daughters: Patricia Franko and Annetta Bogard; and grandson: Phillip Swain.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Beaverton Community Center, 142 Saginaw St, Beaverton, MI. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
