Constance Ann “Connie” LeClair, age 87, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in West Branch, Michigan. She was born on February 19, 1938, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to Stephen and Evelyn Anderson.
Connie dedicated many years of her career to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Tendercare in Tawas City, Michigan. Following her career, she continued to serve her community by volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City.
Connie enjoyed gardening, attending live music events in Tawas, and visiting the farmers market. She also cherished her weekly visits with her great-great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
Connie is survived by her children: Debra (Scot) Morefield of Tawas City, MI; Richard (Vickie) Durfee Jr. of Prescott, MI; Evan (Cindy) Durfee of Rockwood, MI; Rebecah (Guy) Mac Murray of Albuquerque, NM; Mark (Norma) Durfee of Owosso, MI; and her son-in-law, Matt O’Dell of Tawas City, MI.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Bryan (Sophia) Clayton, Kristen (Cyril) Martin, Cheri Eymer, Jennifer (Shane) Hines, Lisa (Troy) Gawne, Jason (Laurie) Durfee, Lee Durfee, Trevor (Latoya) Durfee, Cody Durfee, Timothy (Sonia) Mac Murray, Jasmine Molina, Guy Evan Mac Murray, Joshua (Lindsay) Durfee, Megan (James) Williams, and Ian (Kait) Mac Murray. Connie was blessed with thirty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her nine siblings; her beloved daughter, Wendy Mac Murray; and her grandson, Kenneth Mac Murray.
