Beverly Ann (Boka) Pellens, age 83, passed away on May 7, 2025, in Tawas City, MI. She was born on May 6, 1942, in Flint, MI to Steven and Mary (Police) Boka.
Beverly pursued an associate’s degree in dental hygiene and worked as a hygienist for 15 years. She married the love of her life, Francis “Joe” Pellens in 1976. Together they worked and raised their family in the Flint area until moving to their summer cottage on Long Lake in 1992.Beverly enjoyed cooking, reading and working in the garden. She loved watching the flowers grow. She and Joe traveled to many places in the United States later in life.
Beverly is survived by her children; Matthew (Kimberly), Lynn, and Brian; brother John Boka, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many friends on the lake. In addition to her husband Joe, she is preceded in death by her parents, and son Bradley.
Per Beverly’s wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Memories and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
