Tim Wright

Timothy Dean Wright, passed away peacefully in his home on April 5th 2025 surrounded by family. Timothy was born in Port Huron MI on April 23, 1967. He is survived by the love of his life, Lori Wright; his birth mother, Linda Wehrwein Elston; his adopted mother, Billie Wright; stepmother, Cindy Wright; and beloved mother-in-law, Rosalind Wodarski (Casimir). He was a proud and loving father to his son, David Wright, daughters Cassie Sienkiewicz, Chelsea Marshall and Erica Wright. His spirit will live on in his cherished grandchildren: Olen Marshall, Grace Morin, Axle Marshall, Charleston Wright, Mackenzie Wright.

Tim is also survived by his brother, Michael Kitchen (Cheryl), Patrick Elston; sisters Leanne Haken (Scott) and Kimberly Elston; and many more loved ones whose lives he touched—far too many to name, but each dearly held in his heart.

A dedicated member of his community, Tim served for several years as a volunteer firefighter and first responder in Oscoda. Always ready to lend a hand, Tim embodied selflessness and strength. He would do anything to help someone in need.

Tim was family-oriented, known for his direct nature, quick wit, and wicked sense of humor. A lover of quirky projects, there was truly nothing he couldn’t fix, build, or figure out. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—thrifting and garage sales, long scenic drives, his peaceful pond, and bird watching.

Tim’s love, laughter, and larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father James Wright and his furry companion Pep.

Per Timothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held at American Legions, 900 E Lincoln St., East Tawas, MI 48730 on April 26th from 2pm-6pm.

Rather than flower arrangements please consider flowers that can take root and grow in honor of Timothy’s lasting memory.
