With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde (Bud) Morrison Jr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 92. He was surrounded by the love of his family, a testament to the rich and full life he lived. Bud and his cherished wife, Frieda, recently celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on January 17, 2025, a remarkable testament to their enduring love and commitment. Their bond served as an inspiration to all who knew them. He was a dedicated family man, deeply devoted to his wife and family. A skilled machine operator by trade, Bud also found joy in the outdoors, an avid hunter who appreciated the beauty and challenge of the natural world. He served his country honorably in the Army, earning an honorary discharge as a Corporal.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by his four children: Butch (Mary) Morrison, Suzie (Art) Rivard, Rick (Sue) Morrison and Chery Morrison, seven grandchildren: Kristie (Luis) Mendoza, Vickie McGillis, Andy (Sarah) Rivard, Aaron Rivard, Kay (Eric) Young, Derrick (Alyssa) Morrison, and Lyndsay (Justin) Dalke, and fourteen great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He will be deeply missed by his entire extended family and countless friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Beryl Morrison, also his siblings, Miriam Rosebrugh, Orrel Miller, Pat LaLone and Reid Morrison.
Family will hold visitation services for Bud on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott, Visitation from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral service on Tuesday January 28, 2025. Rick Rockwell officiating. Visitation from 10:00am – 12:00pm, funeral at 12:00pm, followed by a luncheon at Judson Baptist Church next to the funeral home.
