Rosemarie Goodman, beloved wife, mother, sister, & grandmother passed away October 17, 2024 at My Michigan Hospital in West Branch, with her family by her side. Rosemarie was born to the late Roy & Elizabeth (Offenbecker) Howard on June 21, 1945. She was raised with her 6 sisters and 4 brothers at their home in Estey, Michigan. Rosemarie attended and graduated from Pinconning Schools in 1963. After school, Rosemarie married Bruce Collier and raised 2 children: Michelle and Bruce in Standish. She later obtained an associate’s degree from Delta College. In 1994 she married Leonard Goodman who survives her.
She was a loyal employee for several years at Magline as a secretary. She then worked at the Standish Correctional Facility until her retirement. Rosemarie enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, baking, bird watching, oil painting, and rock hunting with her sisters, nieces, and cousins. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband Leonard, children: Michelle Paten, Bruce (Traci) Collier, grandchildren: Whitney (Paul) Jankoska, Lacey (Jason) Childs, Jesse (Angelina) Potts, Levi Paten, Matthew Paten, Makenzie Collier, Erika Collier, Nolan Goodman, Logan Goodman, Skylr Goodman, and Landi Goodman. She was predeceased by her brother Percy Howard, 3 nephews: Tristan Reeves, Ronnie LaFave, and Torrey Courier, as well as her stepson Randy Goodman.
Funeral services will be held at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Pinconning Chapel on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00 am with Sue Howard presiding with burial following. Friends and family may visit at the Chapel on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
