Gerald John Magalski, age 86, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of Joplin, MO passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Tawas City, MI.
He was born on December 8, 1937 in Detroit, MI. After graduation, Gerald joined the United States Army serving in the 1st Airborne Battle Group 327th Infantry Division of Company B. He worked for 39 years as a load cell laboratory technician for Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Company in Missouri, retiring in 2019.
Gerald enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and playing cards in his free time.
He is survived by his siblings, Richard (Judy) Magalski of Newark, OH, Gary (Debbie) Magalski of Oscoda, MI, Andy (Lorena) Magalski of Oscoda, MI, Irene Lancour of Mason, MI, Tina (Bill) Roy of Oscoda, MI and Andrea (Jim) Aites of Loveland, CO and 15 nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Bernice Magalski.
