Frank Whitman, 82, of St. Helen

Frank Belcher Whitman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born January 6, 1942, in Louisville, KY to Frank and Hester (Belcher) Whitman. He passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the age of 82, at his home in St. Helen, MI surrounded by his family.  He lived in St. Helen since 1997, formerly of Rockwood, MI.
 
 On January 29, 1966, he married Connie Johnson in Grand Haven, MI.
 
 Frank led a fulfilling life filled with joy and adventure. One of his greatest passions was the great outdoors; he found solace and exhilaration in activities like biking, boating, golfing, and kayaking. His zest for life was truly infectious, and he inspired all those around him to embrace each moment with enthusiasm.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
 
 In his journey through life, Frank was accompanied by his loving family who meant the world to him. He is survived by his devoted wife Connie Whitman, his daughter Terri (Mike Trent) Whitman, his son Ted (Kristi) Whitman. His legacy lives on through his adoring grandchildren: Adam O’Callaghan, Drake Thornfelt, Ashley Critzon, Emily Critzon, and Megan Critzon. Frank also leaves behind his great grandsons Liam and Luca Owens who brought him immense joy and pride.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
 
 Frank will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
 
 In honor of Frank’s memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life that touched so many hearts and left an indelible mark on all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved beyond measure.
