Scott Alan Shepard, age 57 of Prescott, MI., passed away at his home on April 29, 2024. Scott was born on November 5, 1966 in Michigan, to the late James Shepard and Jeanette Hess.
Scott was raised in Ypsilanti, MI., where he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1985. He eventually settled in Prescott in 2000. He was a self-employed professional truck driver for approximately 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed classic cars and following NASCAR. He also enjoyed owning Australian Sheppard’s.
Scott is survived by his brother, Wallace (Jennifer) Rost of Gatesville, TX.; nieces and nephews, Kassandra Rost, Connor Sweeney, Corey Rost, Camron Rost, and Kaitlynn Rost.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Hess; step-father, Alvin Hess; father, James Shepard, and niece Kathrynn Rost.
The family will have a funeral service for Scott on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott, MI. Visitation will begin at 11:00am. Funeral service at 1:00pm followed by interment at Mills Township cemetery.
