Ricky L. “Rick” Birtles, 75, of Mio, Michigan, peacefully passed away Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at his home. .
Rick was born in Sandusky, Michigan on December 10, 1948 to Josephine (Armstrong) and Howard Birtles. He worked many years as a welder and was a lifetime member of the Mio Moose.
He is survived by his wife Judy of Mio, MI, his son Steven of Pennsylvania, his daughter Dawn of Mio, MI, and his daughter Tammy of Kincheloe, MI; his brother Randy, his sister Kim, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandchildren. Rick will join his granddaughter Melissa in Heaven.
In accordance with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
