Karle Grant Boddy, age 83, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Born July 24, 1940, in West Branch, MI. He was the son of Charles and Elva (Stoner) Boddy. Beloved husband of Elaine (Kilbourn) Boddy whom he married on June 22, 1963. He was a loyal employee of the State of Michigan for 35 years. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Kilbourn) Boddy. His children Kaylene (RJ) Schroeder, Grant Boddy, and Kammy (Jeff) Maroney. His grandchildren Joshua Schroeder, Kate (Collin) Lorenz, Alexis Maroney, Jonathan Boddy, and Kaley (Derek) Delaney. His great-grandchildren Eloise and Franklin Delaney. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randy, and Darlene (Kilbourn) Randall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, and Elva (Stoner) Boddy. His siblings Glen Boddy, Genevieve Cody, Joany Andujar, Norman Boddy, Barbara Boddy, Leone Brick and Retta Weck.
As per Karle’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
