Ginger Knapp, 68, of Roscommon

Ginger Sue Knapp, 68, of  Roscommon passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Ginger was born on May 25, 1955 in Goodrich, Michigan to Delain and Donna (Prentice) Swain. She grew up in the Dansville area where she graduated from Dansville High School.  Ginger had her own cleaning business for several years and worked for Dakkota Industries in Holt. On September 2, 1987 in Mason, Ginger was married to Timothy Lee  Knapp. The couple made the Higgins Lake area there permanent home in 2017, coming from Mason.  Ginger enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader.  She also loved being outdoors and walking in the woods, looking for Petoskey Stones, and listening to her wind chimes in her yard. Her special love was spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving Mrs. Knapp are her loving husband of 36 years, Timothy Lee Knapp; daughter, Beth Munday; five sons, Doug (Nikki) Swain, Jeremy (Katrina) Prebble, Daniel (Jamie) Knapp, Anthony (Suzanne) Knapp, and Josh (Kelly) Knapp; grandchildren, Tyler Swain, Ryan Snider,  Jasmine Prebble, Emma Knapp,  Logan Vince, Dominic Knapp, Mikayla Knapp, Joshie Knapp, Allen Mundy and Raylyn Munday; step mother, Geri Swain; siblings, Alice, Jo Ann, Delain, Russ, Julie, Jackie, Jason, Martina, and Josh; numerous nieces and nephews. Ginger was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jeanie. 

Celebration of Life Services for Ginger Sue Knapp will be conducted at a later date.  Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
