Dianne Coffman, 71, of East Tawas

Dianne Elizabeth Coffman, age 71, of East Tawas, MI passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at MediLodge of Tawas City. She was born on July 23, 1952 in Tawas City, MI to the late Laurence Arthur and Charlotte Ruth (Minard) Skiver. Dianne graduated from Tawas Area High School in 1970 and went on to serve in the United States Army. Aside from her time serving in the Army, Dianne has been a life-long resident of Tawas. She retired as a medical records clerk for Tawas St. Joseph Hospital after many years of hard work and dedication. Dianne was a Lions football fan and loved watching the games. She also loved listening to music, cooking, cribbage and spending time with family and friends. She was a long-time member of Lake Huron Community Church in East Tawas. Dianne is survived by her sons, Robert (Gina) Coffman and Matthew Coffman; brothers, Laurence (Margaret) Skiver and Timothy Skiver; and sister, Michelle Foether; grandchildren, Chloe, Gianna and Nicholas Coffman and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Dean. The family will hold a celebration of Dianne’s life at a later date.
