Diane Geraldine Brill
Age 76, of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on February 21, 2024. Diane was born to the late Edward and Irene Wojcicki on April 25, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in the Detroit area and following high school she attended Wayne State University to obtain an associate degree in liberal arts. After her college graduation, she went on to work for social services in the State of Michigan for several years. Diane has been in the Tawas area for 35+ years and made several connections with the community since then. She married Dave Hartley and raised a family here in Tawas until his passing in 2005. In July of 2013 she re-married to Arthur Brill of Troy, Michigan, and the two had the opportunity to spend 12 wonderful years together. She was a very faith-based woman and was a proud member of the East Tawas Assembly of God Church family. Some of her favorite hobbies consisted of reading books, being involved in her church bible study, cooking delicious meals for all her family, and most importantly spending quality time with her loved ones. Diane was a very loving and generous woman, and she will be missed dearly by many.
Diane is survived by her husband, Arthur Brill; children, Raymond (Jennifer) Feyers, Phillip Feyers, and daughter by proxy, Paula (Christopher) D’agostino; sisters, Debra (Art) Stepaniak and Janice (John) Wilczek; grandchildren, Michaella Feyers; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Wojcicki; and sisters Nancy Konke and Linda Lux.
There will be a visitation held for Diane at Buresh Funeral Homes on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.
