James Arini, 62, of St. Helen

James V. Arini, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother, passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 62, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born to Mitchell and Mary Arini, James grew up in a warm and loving family, sharing his childhood with sisters JoAnne (Paul) and Theresa (Randy). He went on to build his own family, becoming the beloved husband of Sandra for 15 wonderful years.

James was a dedicated father to Jason (Allyson), Nicole, Elizabeth (Matt), Jennifer (Mike), and Kristine. His role as a grandfather brought immense joy to his life, and he cherished his time with Dean, Henry, Tyler, Felicity, Faith, Fiona, Mikey, Aaliyah, Robbie, Aviana, and Haisley. His legacy extended further as he became a great-grandfather to Nate and Elliott. Even being the uncle of Zachary, Jillian, Emily, and Dominick brought him great joy and he relished every moment spent with them.

A true family man, James valued the bonds he shared with his loved ones. He found happiness in the laughter and playfulness of his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will forever live on in their hearts.

James was not only a loving family man but also a good friend to Tom (Sara). His social nature and genuine interest in people made him a joy to be around. James had a unique ability to impart wisdom, drawing from a wealth of life experiences that he willingly shared with those around him.

He was also a proud 40 year officer business agent and journeyman member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, local 324.

In addition to his family and friends, James had a passion for the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for him; they were a way of life. He found solace and joy in nature, creating a legacy of shared adventures and cherished moments.

As we say our goodbyes to James V. Arini, let us remember the warmth of his smile, the wisdom in his words, and the love he generously shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone he touched throughout his remarkable journey.
