Brian Stuhr, 60, of Tawas City

Brian L. Stuhr, age 60, of Tawas City, MI passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1963 in Bay City, MI to Harlie and Neva Stuhr (Harris). He attended high school at Flint Southwestern and eventually moved to the Tawas area in the late 1980’s. Brian worked in the masonry field for general contractors. He loved to hunt, fish, collect knives and listen to rock and roll music (loudly). Brian was a very artistic and drawing/painting was his favorite. He was very proud of his long red hair and wore it with style. Brian is survived by his mother, Neva Stuhr of Tawas City, MI; sister Tammy (John) Savage of Flint, MI, sister Melinda (Tony Bamberger) Smith of Tawas City, MI and several aunts and uncles. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew, Jason Savage, Sara Savage, Natasha (Brandon) Groff; nine great nieces and nephews, James, Ethan, Kelvin, Harper, David, Clayton, Bristol, Braxton, Declan, Landon and special friend, Sharon Reece. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Harlie Stuhr and nephew Joshua Matzke. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
