John Hart, 65, of Mio

John M. Hart, age 65, of Mio, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023
Born in Detroit, Michigan on March 1, 1958 to his late parents Joseph and Davidia Hart.
One of six children, John was able to find his own role amongst his five siblings. He was the one to bring in the family’s pet St. Bernard when it got out of the yard. Even if it meant diving and lifting himself off the ground like Superman to catch Brutus; the job had to be done.  As a teenager John learned to do body work on cars passing along these skills to his younger brother Pete. John also liked bowling and a cold beer. He accompanied his brothers and father, Joseph, up North for many Bow and Rifle seasons.  While he may have never bagged the big one, he enjoyed the camaraderie of those trips.

Along side his parents he would move to the Lewiston, Michigan area in the 1980’s.  He would volunteer and work the Fish Fry at the American Legion Post 162 in Luzerne, Michigan.  You could usually find John relaxing at the bar listening to the stories of his Dad and others around him.  His other interests included watching action movies and professional wrestling; cheesy sure, but he enjoyed them anyways. He both enjoyed and endured the craziness of his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed Dearly.
He is survived by son John (Michelle) Beljan.  His Grandchildren  Alex, Arianna, and Xzaivur. His Brothers Peter (Daina) Hart and Joseph (Tammy) Hart.  And his many nieces and nephews.

Along with his Parents, John was preceded in death by his Brother William (Susanna) Hart, sister Charlotte Ann Hart-Priest, sister Shirley (the late Marcus) Giles.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
