Jeff Moore, 69, of Oscoda

Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Moore was born on June 15, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. Jeff is the son of John O. Moore and Edith Moore. Jeff was raised in Livonia, Michigan along with his older siblings; John L. Moore and Cathy Moore. Jeff met and fell in love with his wife of 50 years, Gail Ann Wilson while they were attending Stevenson High School in Livonia. Jeff’s lifelong best friend, Robert Panackia has always been by his side since they were children. Jeff was an avid hockey player before becoming a Journeyman Structural Ironworker out of Detroit Local#25.

Jeff and Gail lovingly raised their boys; Derek Wilson Moore (Krystal Moore) and Scott Matthew Moore (Kristy Moore) while attending Oscoda Assembly of God for 33 years. Jeff was the founding President of The Huron Hockey and Skating Association and also served as a baseball coach for Oscoda Area Schools. Jeff loved to help people and was a caring outdoorsman, spending many wonderful moments with his father-in-law, Jerry Wilson.

Jeff also leaves behind on his journey to heaven his dear sister-in-law Shelly (Wilson) Fisher (Robert S. Fisher) along with his grand children; Autumn Renee Moore, Andrew Hendrick Moore, Hannah Grace Moore, Dylan Kade Moore and Kaydee Beth Moore and great-granddaughter Amelia Rose.

The Moore family is humbled and honored that there will be a memorial service for Jeff on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at 11:00 am hosted by The Oscoda Assembly of God with fellowship to follow the service. In lieu of any donations to the family, they kindly ask that you consider any gifts be given to The Oscoda Assembly of God.
