Carol Ann Lehti, age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. She was born on June 10, 1955, in Detroit, MI, to Stanley and Leona (Van Oast) Paslawski. She lived in Hale, MI for over 10 years, formerly of Livonia, MI.
Carol graduated from Livonia Franklin High School in 1973. She had a successful career as a bank teller at Dearborn Bank and Trust, and later as a credit analyst at Ford Motor Credit. Carol was a proud member of the Eagles in Hale. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and cherished the “lake life” at Sage Lake in Michigan during the summer months. Carol loved being part of the Sage Lake Community.
In her free time, Carol had a passion for baking and arts and crafts. She found joy in creating delicious treats and expressing her creativity through various artistic endeavors.
Carol is survived by her son, Chris (Jen) Lehti of Waterford, MI, and her daughter, Tammy (Larry) Bruck of Howell, MI. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Kaytlen, Andrew, and Justin. Carol is also survived by her sisters, Micki (Joe) Hickerson of Gaylord, MI and Ronnie Ham of Mesa, AZ, as well as her brother, Michael Paslawski of IN. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Bruce Lehti, in 2019.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Carol’s memory.
