Rodney ‘Hot Rod’ Stimpson, 77, of St. Helen

Rodney “Hot Rod” Stimpson, age 77, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his home in St. Helen, MI surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 30, 1946, in Flint, MI to Lewis and Emily (Farrer) Stimpson. He lived in St. Helen since 1994, formerly of Flint.

Rod worked at General Motors as an assembly line worker and retired in 1994.

Rod was a man of simple pleasures and had a few hobbies that brought him joy. He loved spending his free time fishing, watching Gunsmoke, and following NASCAR races. He was also an avid Detroit Red Wings fan.

Rod is survived by his sisters, Pam (Roger) Williams and Edie (Paul) Tworek, along with several nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and many great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald Stimpson, and his sister Paula Stimpson.

Per Rod’s request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services held.
