Helen Bissonette, 95, of Oscoda

Helen Josephine Bissonette passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 19th, 2023 at 95 years old. She was born April 10th, 1928 in Flint, MI to parents Julius and Theresa Pfalzer. She attended the Barbizon School of Modeling and Acting in NYC, before settling down in Oscoda Michigan with her husband Hugh Bissonette. They spent 59 loving years together and had three boys- Steve, Jeff, and Greg. She is survived by her sons and grandchildren (Courtney, Gregory, Teresa, Elizabeth, Lee, Mike, Brian, and Michelle). To know her was to love her and all her sass. Helen also had previously worked for Senator Barry Goldwater in Arizona.  Thank you to Iosco Medical Care facility for making this transition smooth and for taking care of Helen for the last 7 years, knowing that she always had someone in her corner meant the world to her family.  The family will receive friends at the Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, MI on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm.
