Mr. William “Bud” Pleasant Conway, 87 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away at his home on October 15, 2023. He was born in Kuttawa, Kentucky on August 16, 1936, to the late Byron and Dorothy (Gray) Conway. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. On February 16, 1957, he married Jeanene Joy (James) Conway and together they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his passing. The couple has resided in Lewiston since 1984. Bud was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider. He enjoyed any activities that involved time outdoors, but most importantly, he loved being with family. He is and will be deeply missed.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Joy Conway of Lewiston; daughter, Starr (Shouky) Zerka of Swartz Creek; son, William Scott (Iris) Conway of Clio; grandchildren, Nickola Zerka, Angelica Zerka, Natalya Zerka, William Klee (Kittarren) Conway, and Zackery Conway; sisters, Mary McCall of Genessee; Anna Schmidt of Swartz Creek, and Judy (Chuck) Jaworski of Byron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Dorothy Conway, and brother, Charles.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Bud with a service at Our Lady of Lebanon Parish in Flint, Michigan at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
