Linda Kay Ecker, age 65 of Skidway Lake, MI., passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on April 19, 1958 in Flint, MI., to Jack and Irene (Boitel) Butler. Her family raised her in the Flint area, but she eventually settled in the Iosco and Ogemaw county area.
She married the love of her life, Timothy Lee Ecker, on December 15, 1990. They had 32 wonderful years. Linda loved crafting and doing crossword puzzles. She loved being with family most of all though, especially during the holidays. Linda was a member of the Lutheran Church in Prescott for many years.
Linda is survived by her husband, Timothy; mother, Irene Sowers; step-son, Kenneth Riley; sister, Myrtle (Mike) Millard; brother, Rodney (Alice) Butler, and several nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Jack Butler; father-in-law, Levi Ecker, and niece, Shelby Butler.
Family will hold services for Linda at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott, MI., on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Visitation will be 11:00am – 1:00pm. Funeral at 1:00pm with interment to follow at the Mills Township cemetery. Chaplain Alysia Berthiaume will be officiating.
