Mr. Lester Lee Herrington, 71 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at MyMichigan Medical Center of Alpena on October 3, 2023. He was born on May 25, 1952 to James and Shirley Herrington in Detroit, Michigan. He has resided in Lewiston since 2018, formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida. Lester had dreams of flying airplanes. He loved anything to do with them whether it was model plane kits or simply watching them fly. He is and will be deeply missed.
Lester is survived by his children, Heather Gervais; James (Leanne) Herrington both of Marquette; grandchildren, Luc, Ailee, and James. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Shirley Herrington.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Herrington at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Albert Township Cemetery, Kneeland Street; Pastor Dave Fisher officiating.
