Jeanette A. Rodgers, age 76, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanette was born on May 23, 1947 in Indian River, Michigan to Harry and Ella (Kunath) Maybank. She was married on July 15, 1967 in Indian River, Michigan to Gale S. Rodgers. Jeanette retired from the State of Michigan after many years as a Park Ranger. She enjoyed watching sports and was a huge U of M fan, other hobbies included crocheting, making crafts and spending time with her family.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 56 years; Gale Rodgers of Houghton Lake, daughter; Kim Rodgers of Houghton Lake, sons; Gale Scott (Edith) Rodgers II of Florida and Matthew (Jennifer) Rodgers of Clare, three grandsons; Travis (Kaylee) Rodgers, Cody (Jowie) Rodgers and Andrew Rodgers, great grandchildren; Aubree, Ivee, Indiana and Baki, brothers; Jim (Judy) Maybank and Gene (Julie) Maybank. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson; Cameron, sisters; Donna and Beth, brothers; Tex, Ted, Frank and Keith.
A Memorial Service will take place at the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 2 pm. The family will greet friends from 1 pm until the time of the service.
