Harry Cotterman, 86, of National City

Harry David Cotterman, age 86 of National City, MI., passed away peacefully at his home on August 22, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Harry was born on February 21, 1937 in Michigan to the late Harry and Virginia (Hartman) Cotterman.

As a young man, he served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959. Afterwards he went to work for GM for over 30 years eventually retiring and settling in Iosco county. He and his wife, Kay, loved traveling all over the United States, especially to New Orleans. Harry was an avid golfer, but also had a wood working shop at home where he made wooden toys for the grandkids. He belonged to the VFW, American Legion, Eagles, and Moose Lodge.

Harry is survived by his children, Ginger, David, Iris, Bobbie, and Anna; brother, Chuck (Darlene); sisters, Donna (Alonzo) and Gina (Barry); 16 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Kay (2019), parents, and grandson, Matthew.

Services for Harry will take place at the Buresh Funeral Home in Hale on Friday, September 1, 2023. Visitation at 10:00am. Funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment at the Pioneer cemetery in Sand Lake with a luncheon to follow. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences, memories, and photos of Harry.
