Eric Hillman, 74, of Beaverton

Eric Hillman, 74, of Beaverton, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1948, the son of Guy and Janice (Linton) Hillman. Eric was united in marriage to the love of his life, Peggy Greynolds, on May 8, 1971, at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. He was a part of the National Guard for 6 years. Eric worked at Brown Machine as a technical writer for over 40 years, and in 1975, he became the owner and operator of Industrial Tag Engraving. He had a true passion for golf, and he loved his grandchildren like no other, following them in all their activities over the years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy; children: Chad (Mary) Hillman and Mandy (Chet) Loar; exchange daughter: Katie Pangø; grandchildren: Bella Hillman, Keira Hillman, Caiden Loar, and Reagan Loar; exchange grandchildren: Korn Supatrabutra, Karn Supatrabutra, and Pau Chesa Gerona; siblings: Sonja Erway, Sherryl (Mick) Stitz, William Hillman, Loris Hillman, Tam (Steve) Wuelfing, and Jeff (Deb) Hillman; along with nieces, nephews, and greats.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Guy and Janice Hillman; brother, Larry Hillman; and mother-in-law, Janet Greynolds.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on August 10th at the Beaverton Brethren Church.  (Visitation: 2-5pm Service: 5pm).   Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
