Betty L. Murray age 86, loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Wednesday, August 23,2023 at the Bickford of Midland Assisted Living. She was born on October 29, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Orval & Caroline (Pretzer) Wolfgram. She met and married the love of her life, James Murray, on August 9, 1958. He predeceased her on May 9, 2022. Betty enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, sewing and crocheting but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her number one daughter Vicki.
Betty is survived by her children; Ann M (Paul) Walters, June A (Paul) Matzke, Susan J. (Shaun) Kelly, and Vicki J Murray, grandchildren; Nicole Hawkins, Kayla Matzke, Benjamin (Brehanna) Matzke, Aaron Matzke, Pamela (Kelly) Henris, Joseph Kelly, great grandchildren; Jaxon Garrett, Abbigail Maratta, and James Maratta, and Kayce Henris. Sisters and brothers; Dorothy Fahrenbruch, Orval Wolfgram, Elinor Lange and Edwin Wolfgram She was predeceased by her sister Marion Mansfield, two brother in laws Paul Fahrenbruch and Ron Lange.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
