Arthur Wilfred Fisette, Jr., age 69, of Grayling, MI passed away on August 19, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Art was born to Arthur Sr. and Shirley (Descamps) Fisette on November 3, 1953 in Detroit, MI. He lived a life outdoors, enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, camping with friends and family, and wintering in Florida. If he wasn’t camping, he was cutting firewood and tinkering in his garage. Always the first to lend a hand, Art could fix or build almost anything, and loved helping others. He lived by the motto “What you see is what you get”. He will be dearly missed.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tina Fisette; children Nicole Schreiber and Justin (Nicole Naimi) Fisette; grandchildren Calvin Schreiber and Kelsey Schreiber; siblings Barbara (Dave) Eberle, Linda Mueller, Sherrie Hendershot, Wendy (Mitch) Hause, Doug (Becky) Fisette, Cathy (Dave) Miller, and Kevin (Denise) Fisette; and many nieces and nephews. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur, Sr. & Shirley Fisette, and sister Betty Jean Fisette.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Thursday morning at 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at Noon.
