Robert J. Stein, 82, passed away on July 26, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 14, 1940, in Munger Michigan to the late Maurice and Frances (Markle) Stein. Robert completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Michigan State University. He was a retired Agriculture Teacher from Standish Sterling Schools. Robert married the love of his life, Marilyn Peoples on August 03, 1963, in Pinconning, MI.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn Stein, his son Tim (Terri) Stein, son Bob (Wendy) Stein, son Gary (Kim) Stein, and daughter April Stein. Grandchildren; Jessica Stein, Jordan Stein, Eric (Sarah) Stein, Nicole Stein, Kevin Stein, Jade Stein, Johnna (Jesse) DeWeese, Amanda (Caleb) Bialobrzeski, and Whitny Kipfmiller. Great-grandchildren; Jaxon Berry, Knox Berry, Anthony Stein, Callie Stein, Scarlett DeWeese, Amelia DeWeese, Emma Bialobrzeski, and Evalynn Bialobrzeski.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Frances Stein, and his daughter, Dawn Kipfmiller.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 31, 2023, 7:00pm at Divine Shepherd Christian Community Church with Pastor John Tousciuk presiding. Family and friends will be greeted at 2:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Compassus Hospice staff for the compassionate care they provided to Robert.
