Richard T. Hernden, age 72, of Roscommon, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Grayling, Michigan.
Richard was born January 30, 1951, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the son of Henry and Margie (Tucker) Hernden.
Richard will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his children: Jeaneen (Kent) Hernden of Port Huron, Michigan, Shereen Edwards of Marine City, Michigan, Nicole Hernden of Brooklyn, New York, Rachel O’Dell of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Melissa, Perry, Sonny, David, Haillie, Brooke, Donavan, Connor, Libby and Gunnar; great grandchildren: Aiden, Nikolai, Dorian, Caius, Elowyn, Lorelei; sister, Gloria Rank of New Haven, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Clara LeRoy, James Hernden, Marion Rossbach, Jane Avendt, Judy Grewe, Patricia Gilbert, Ronald Hernden.
Richard’s family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
