Michael A. Hartley, age 63 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
Michael was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 19, 1960 to Daniel and Marilyn (Barnella) Hartley. He lived in Florida and Bay City before moving to Mio 12 years ago. Mike worked for Cooper Standard and part time at Hinchman Acres. He enjoyed music.
Mike is survived by his mother Marilyn (Al) Hood of Luzerne, MI; his sisters: Crystal Hartley, Dawn Blocker, Robin Ellison, Marilyn Falcioni, and Lisa Hartley; his step-brothers: Dean Hood and Bob Hood; his step-sister Jennifer Gornto; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends Mel & Donna. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Hartley and his brother-in-law William Dalton.
Visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 12 Noon – 4:00 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with a Prayer Service at 2:30 PM with Fr. Santiago Hoyumpa officiating, followed by a Rosary offered by the Mio Knights of Columbus. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the services.
