Judith Redd, 70, of Tawas City, Michigan, passed away on 07/10/2023. She was born to parents Phillip Smolinski and Stephanie Smolinski, on 01/22/1953 in Alpena, Michigan.
She graduated from Posen High School in 1971, the town she grew up in.
Judith worked for 28 Years at St. Joseph Hospital. She enjoyed loving and taking care of others, giving her much joy and pride in her work.
She had a passion for reading as there was always a book within her reach. Judith had an affinity for lighthouses collecting many over her lifetime. She was a lover of music and her family who always cherished spending time with her.
Judith met Eric Redd in 1978. They were married on 09/01/1983 in Tawas City, Michigan. Together they raised 4 children: Joe Redd, Nicholas Redd, Kyle Redd, Kasey Redd.
Judith is survived by her Husband Eric, Siblings Jan, Tony, Sally, Mary, Tommy, Son Joseph and his Wife Lark, Son Kyle and his Wife Sara, Son Kasey, Grandchildren Holden, Brady, Tyler, Isabella, and Madison.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Phillip Smolinski and Stephanie Smolinski, and her Son Nicholas.
The family has entrusted Buresh Funeral Home with the arrangements. Judith’s wishes were to not have a showing or funeral. A family celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.”
