Joyce Marie Schmitz, 89, of Houghton Lake passed away on Monday July 24, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Joyce was born on May 18, 1934 in Owosso, Michigan to Donald and Hazel Graves. Joyce was married on February 20, 1970 in Inkster, Michigan to Thomas Hubert Schmitz. She and her husband moved to the Houghton Lake area from Plymouth in 2010 to enjoy the rest of their lives together.
Surviving Joyce Marie Schmitz is her loving Husband of 53 years, Thomas Schmitz; and many other loving family members and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her biological and adopted parents.
No formal services are scheduled at this time. A private burial will take place at a later date.
