Their love and partnership was a testament to unwavering commitment, loyalty, and support. Together, they built a life filled with shared experiences and cherished moments. He was also loved very much by his daughter, Danielle McDaniel.

As a Papa, Douglas cherished his role and adored his grandchildren, Nick, Kailee, and Allie. He found immense joy in watching them grow, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured by his loved ones. Douglas was also blessed with a supportive and loving extended family. His presence will be deeply missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Charlie and Sheila Whitt; his nephews and nieces, Tina and Jason Scofield, Stacey and Trenton Whitt, Scott and Velvet Whitt, and their children, Candice, Elizabeth, and Spencer.
