Ashley Bard and Nathan “Nate” Bock of Beaverton passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2023. Ashley was born on December 6, 1989, the daughter of Danny (Lisa) Bard and Holly (Fred) Dell. Nate was born on June 1, 1981, the son of Kim and Jackie (Huntley) Bock. They were engaged to be married on August 3, 2024. Ashley was the owner and operator of Bard’s Custom Painting and Nate was a truck driver for Shawn Muma Logging. Ashley loved softball, playing corn hole and coaching her kid’s ball teams. Nate enjoyed grilling, smoking meats and 4H with his kids. They both loved boating, camping, jeeping, and above all spending time with their family, friends, and their kids.
Left to cherish their memory are parents: Danny Jr. (Lisa) Bard, Fred Dell, Kim (Jackie) Bock; Daughters: Kamryn Bard, Addisyn Barth, Natalie Bock, Taylor Bock; son: Mason Barth; bonus daughter: Carissa Smith; granddaughter: Quinn Hillier; siblings: Doyle Dell, Kyle (Erica) Baumann, Jason (Jessica) Bock, Nicole Bock (Steve Methner); grandparents: Sally (Al) Arends, Phil (Martha) Baumann; nieces and nephews: Noah, Eli, Abby Bock, and Jordyn Schultz, Peyton, Maverick, Emma, Elizabeth, Griffin, Briar, and their God-Daughter Cleo, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding them in death are grandparents: Danny Bard Sr., Robert (Doris) Bock, Jack (Jeannette) Huntley; sister: Amber Dell; Mother: Holly Dell; nephews: Aidan Bock, Jack Shultz.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Roger Bauer (Hope Lutheran Church) on Thursday, August 3, 2023, 11:00 AM at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral in Gladwin, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 1:00 – 8:00 PM at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. They will be laid to rest at Arbutus Cemetery in Beaverton, MI following the service. After the services, a luncheon will be held at The Gladwin Eagles 3292. All memorial contributions made out to the children to go towards their futures may be sent out to both addresses.
