Mary Jeffery, 93, of Au Gres

Mary Margaret Jeffery of Au Gres, Mich., died peacefully on June 19, 2023, surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Sheridan, Mich., to Hector and Mary Ross on July 17, 1929. She married the love of her life, Roy W. Jeffery, on October 4, 1952. They were blessed with 56 years together and raised five children: Kirk, Roy (Barb), Mary Jo Waterstradt, Todd (Marda), and Kathleen (Bobby) Menard. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers – Daniel and Edward Ross, her sisters – Catherine McDonald and Florence Fox, her daughter-in-law Mary Jeffery, and grandchildren Michael and Matt. Mary was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Au Gres on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Viewing begins at 10 a.m., followed by the mass at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the church hall.
