Carl G. Hatfield passed away on June 6, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rose, his parents Harold and Gertrude Hatfield, his 7 brothers and 1 sister. Carl was born and raised in Grayling and served as a medic in the US Air Force and was stationed in France for 4 years. Carl graduated with a Master’s degree from Central Michigan University and taught for 28 years in the Grayling / Frederic schools. He was the owner of Potbelly Antiques in Grayling.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Elmwood cemetery in Grayling. There will be a get-together following the service at 6543 West 4 Mile Road, Grayling.
